Howdy Boot Camp group! Wanted to let you all know that I had a wonderful God filled weekend in Virginia including the beautiful fall drive to and from. God is present everywhere! Rather than bore you all with the list of things I do or have added to start doing in each Spiritual Pathway, I'd prefer to tell you where you can help or motivate me to improve (i.e. areas that I need someone to hold me accountable for) because I may not do them otherwise. Here goes...Spiritual: Fast lunch (combined with prayer) the first Wednesday of every month. May not sound like much but I eat every 2-3hours and can't stand being hungry. Fasting lunch once a month is a baby step for me. I will try to add more once I conquer this one :). Physical: 1)Consistently exercise (min 3 X per week for cardio and 2 X per week for weights). I can be fairly inconsistent here - sometimes exercising 5-6 times per week, sometimes only once. 2)Get a Will before 12/31/08. 3) Give up diet Coke/Mountain Dew and replace with water. Intellectual: 1) Read one Christian based booked every 2 months. 2) Discuss another Faith with someone at least once every 3 months (Dec, Mar, Apr, Jun). Relational: 1) Call or e-mail at least one family member and at least one long distance friend each week. 2) Allow others to help or do something for me (if it is not a family member or a boyfriend, this one is hard for me). Emotional: 1) Read Visionaring before 3/31/09. 2) Reflect on my strengths and weaknesses at least once every 6 months. Focus on 1 weakness to improve before the next reflection. 3) Find one person per month to truly focus on in terms of praying for them, talking to them to genuinely see how they are doing, and being there for them in any way I can.
